Logging Issues & Workout Completion
Fix checkmark, duplicate, and completion issues with logged workouts.
Updated Oct 6, 2026
I completed a workout but it's not checked off, or shows on the wrong day — can that be fixed?
When you complete a workout, the checkmark appears on the day you actually did it — not necessarily the day it was assigned. For example, if you complete Monday's workout on Tuesday, the checkmark will show on Tuesday, while the Monday workout itself will display a completion badge. Make sure you fully complete and rate the workout to get credit; exiting a workout early won't give you a checkmark or completion badge.
If a workout landed on a different day than you expected (for example, you finished after midnight and it recorded on the new day), that date is locked in and can't be moved. This doesn't affect your progress or streak — it just affects where it shows on the calendar.
If you completed a workout and it didn't register as complete at all, support may be able to mark it for you — just share which workout it was and the date you did it.
Can I log a workout or run I did outside of the app?
Currently, Ladder does not support manually logging workouts or runs performed outside of the app (e.g., an outdoor run or a workout at a different gym not following a Ladder program). You can view your history of completed Ladder workouts and save Ladder workouts to your favorites, but external activities cannot be added to your Ladder workout activity log. Some external app integrations, if available and connected (e.g., Strava), may sync certain activities, but this depends on the specific integration's capabilities.
How do I delete an accidental duplicate logged workout?
At this time, we do not offer the ability to delete a workout. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
