Can I modify workouts?
Yes. Modifications let you personalize your workouts while keeping your progress tracked in your Ladder Journal.
Whether you're working with different equipment, prefer alternative movements, or need to adapt exercises to your comfort level, Modifications help you stay consistent with your fitness journey without missing a beat.
Can coaches modify workouts for me?
Coaches do not provide custom modifications for individuals. They might offer general modifications in voiceovers or team chat. Use the swaps feature to make your own modifications.
Where can I find the Modifications feature?
You can find the Modifications feature by previewing your workout or during the workout itself. Simply tap the exercise you wish to swap, and click SWAP. If you see arrows on an exercise prior to tapping, those are exercises with recommended alternatives.
How do I filter workouts to exclude specific exercises?
While Ladder doesn't offer a direct filter to exclude specific exercises across all workouts, you can use the Modifications feature to personalize individual workouts. This feature allows you to swap exercises based on your preferences, equipment availability, or comfort level.
To use Modifications:
- Preview your workout.
- Tap on the exercise you wish to change.
- Select the SWAP option.
- Choose a suitable alternative exercise from the suggestions provided.
This way, you can tailor each workout to better suit your needs and avoid specific exercises you don't want to perform.
